“BayHoops is here to give back something not only to the Filipino community but also to other race and ethnicity. To promote mental and physical fitness and active participation in our society.  We strive for community and social health, to build a stronger social connection in preventing social isolation, a citizen to have positive vision in their life. Playing basketball helped me a lot to overcome different challenges and obstacles in life growing up, it became my stress reliever, a shock absorber that allowed me to be calm before making a decision. Basketball also prevented me from vices which I hope will do the same effect to others.“
